Ram Temple is an important Hindu temple currently under construction in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, India. This temple is situated at the place which is considered to be the birthplace of Ram, the main deity of Hindu religion.

The legal fight for the Ram temple began in 1858, 330 years after Babar's commander Mirbaki built the mosque at the Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya. However, the campaign for the temple intensified after independence. The statues were revealed under the dome within the structure on 22 December 1949, two years after the country gained independence.
What is the importance of Ram temple in Ayodhya?

As the name suggests, this temple is dedicated to Lord Shri Ram and is believed to be constructed on the Ram Janmabhoomi (birthplace of Lord Shri Ram). This Ram Temple reflects the cultural and spiritual heritage associated with Lord Ram and holds immense cultural and religious significance for Hindus.
