चूंकि भगवान विष्णु ने स्वयं भगवान शिव को प्रसन्न करने के लिए शिव सहस्रनाम का जाप किया था, इसलिए इसे अविश्वसनीय रूप से शक्तिशाली और प्रभावी माना जाता है। भगवान शिव के इन हजारों नामों का जाप करने या सुनने से व्यक्ति में शांति, खुशी, सकारात्मकता और कृतज्ञता का भाव आता है।

शिवलिंग पूजा करते समय बोले जाने वाले मंत्र

1- ॐ ह्रीं ह्रौं नम: शिवाय॥ ॐ पार्वतीपतये नम:॥ ॐ पशुपतये नम:॥ ॐ नम: शिवाय शुभं शुभं कुरू कुरू शिवाय नम: ॐ ॥

नारायणं नमस्कृत्य नरं चैव नरोत्तमम्। देवीं सरस्वतीं व्यासं ततो जयमुदीरये॥ वन्दे शम्भुमुमापतिं सुरगुरुं वन्दे जगत्कारणम् वन्दे पन्नगभूषणं मृगधरं वन्दे पशूनां पतिम्। वन्दे सूर्यशशाङ्कवह्निनयनं वन्दे मुकुन्दप्रियम् वन्दे भक्तजनाश्रयं च वरदं वन्दे शिवं शङ्करम्॥

भगवान शिव के सहस्त्रनाम का जाप सुबह उठकर जो भी व्यक्ति भक्ति भाव से करता है उसको उसे सभी सिद्धियां प्राप्त होती है. यह महा स्रोत अत्यंत कल्याणकारी माना जाता है. भगवान शिव का यह जाप करने से सुख समृद्धि के साथ मानसिक शान्ति का अनुभव भी होता है. व्यक्ति जीवन मरण से दूर होकर मोक्ष को प्राप्त करता है.
