हाथ मे किसी भी प्रकार का लाल पुष्प लेकर अपनी कामना बोलकर पुष्प को मातारानी के चरणों मे समर्पित करें। रुद्राक्ष माला से 'ऊँ क्रीं कालिके स्वाहा ऊँ' मंत्र का एक माला जाप सहस्त्रनाम पाठ से पूर्व और अंत में करें, माना जाता है कि ऐसा करने से तो शीघ्र सफलता प्राप्त होती है।
इनकी पूजा उपासना से भय नाश ,आरोग्य की प्राप्ति, स्वयं की रक्षा और शत्रुओं का नियंत्रण होता है. इनकी उपासना से तंत्र मंत्र के सारे असर समाप्त हो जाते हैं. मां काली की पूजा का उपयुक्त समय रात्रि काल होता है. पाप ग्रहों, विशेषकर राहु और केतु शनि की शांति के लिए मां काली की उपासना अचूक होती है.

मां काली को गुड़ का भोग बहुत प्रिय माना गया है। ऐसे में मां काली की कृपा प्राप्ति के लिए पूजा के दौरान उन्हें गुड़ का भोग जरूर लगाना चाहिए। इसके बाद इस भोग के गुड़ को प्रसाद के रूप में गरीबों में बांट दें। ऐसा करने से धन संबंधित परेशानियां दूर होती हैं।
