मां मुंबादेवी के दर्शनों के लिए दूर-दूर से लोग आते हैं। श्रद्धालु मां से जो भी मन्नत सच्चे दिल से मांगते हैं, मां उस मन्नत को जरूर पूरा करती हैं। यहां सिक्कों को कील की सहायता से लकड़ी पर ठोककर मन्नत मांगी जाती है। हर मंगलवार को मां मुंबा के दर्शनों का विशेष महत्व माना जाता है।
दक्षिण मुंबई के भूलेश्वर इलाके को मुंबई की काशी कहा जाता है। यहां स्थित मुंबा देवी मंदिर में दर्शन करने देश के कोने-कोने से लोग आते हैं। श्रद्धालुओं की ऐसी मान्यता है कि यहां पर श्रद्धाभाव से जो मन्नतें मांगी जाती है, वे अवश्य पूरी होती हैं। इसलिए रोजी रोटी की तलाश में जो भी मुंबई आता है, वह मुंबादेवी की दर्शन करके आशीर्वाद लेता है। इससे उसे शहर में जीवन-यापन के लिए रोजगार भी मिलता है। ऐसे भी प्रमाण मौजूद हैं, जो खाली हाथ शहर में आए थे, लेकिन मुंबा देवी की आशीर्वाद से उच्च पदों पर आसीन हुए

Here, wishes are made by hammering coins on wood with the help of a nail. Visiting Maa Mumba every Tuesday is considered to be of special importance.
