 शास्त्रों में कहा गया है कि दुर्गा सप्तशती के चतुर्थ अध्याय का पाठ करने से मां दुर्गा के दर्शन का सौभाग्य प्राप्त होता है। साथ ही जीवन की तमाम परेशानियों से छुटकारा मिल जाता है। यही वजह कि विद्वान कहते हैं- दुर्गा सप्तशती के चौथे अध्याय का पाठ करने से संपूर्ण फल की प्राप्ति हो जाती है।

मां दुर्गा का मूल मंत्र

मां शैलपुत्री बीज मंत्र: ह्रीं शिवायै नम:।

वन्दे वाञ्छितलाभाय चन्द्रार्धकृतशेखराम्। वृषारूढां शूलधरां शैलपुत्रीं यशस्विनीम्॥ या देवी सर्वभू‍तेषु माँ शैलपुत्री रूपेण संस्थिता। नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमस्तस्यै नमो नमः॥

दुर्गा कवच हमारे ऋषियों-मुनियों द्वारा मां दुर्गा के साधकों को प्रदान किया गया एक वरदान है। इसमें मानव शरीर के प्रत्येक अंग की रक्षा हेतु मां भगवती से प्रार्थना की गई है। इस कवच का प्रतिदिन पाठ करने से जीव कठिन-से-कठिन परिस्थितियों में भी विचलित नहीं होता।

मां दुर्गा को लाल रंग अति प्रिय है। अतः नवरात्रि के दौरान मां दुर्गा को प्रसन्न करने के लिए उन्हें लाल रंग के फूल अर्पित करें। साथ ही श्रृंगार का सामान माता को भेंट करें। इससे मां दुर्गा प्रसन्न होकर साधक को मनोवांछित फल प्रदान करती हैं।

दुर्गा देवी को कैसे प्रसन्न करें?

वह अपने उपासकों के साथ वैसा ही व्यवहार करती है, जैसे एक माँ अपने बच्चों के साथ करती है। वह बहुत ही केयरिंग तरीके से प्यार करती है और जरूरत पड़ने पर गुस्सा भी कर सकती है। उन्हें प्रसन्न करने का सबसे अच्छा तरीका है उनके मंत्रों का जाप करना ।
