गुप्त नवरात्रि पर देवी काली की पूजा के लिए सरल नियम हैं. माता के इस रूप की पूरी निष्ठा और सच्चे मन से पूजा के लिए सबसे पहले ब्रह्म मुहूर्त में प्रातः स्नान करने के बाद ही पूजा आरंभ करनी चाहिए. स्नान करके पवित्र हो जाने के बाद घी का दीपक जलाएं और फिर मां को लाल रंग के फूल अर्पित करें.
इसमें मां को पोशाक, झांझर पहनाई, बिंदी, इत्र लगाकर फूलों का हार पहनाया गया। इसके बाद चने व हलवे का भोग लगाया गया। पंचानंद गिरि महाराज ने मां काली को मदिरा और रक्त की जगह अनार के जूस का प्रसाद दिया। तांत्रिक पूजा विधि के तहत पंचानंद गिरि ने मां काली को अपने रक्त की बलि दी।
